AP - Bill Melendez, the animator who gave life to Snoopy, Charlie Brown and other “Peanuts” characters in scores of movies and TV specials, has died. He was 91. Melendez died Tuesday at St. John’s Hospital, according to publicist Amy Goldsmith.
